How To Make A Mojito?Mojito is a traditional Cuban whiskey.A Mojito not very strong and is made of five ingredients: white rum, sugar (traditionally sugar cane juice), lime juice, sparkling water and mint. The original recipe uses Cuban mint green or Yerba Buena, a very popular variety of mint in the combination island.Its sweetness, refreshing citrus and mint flavors are intended to complement the powerful shot of rum, and whiskey is evident that, a popular summer drink.



When drawing up its mojito, lemon juice is added sugar (or syrup) and mint leaves. Mix gently with a mashed Muddler. Mint leaves should be only bruised to release the essential oils and should not be shredded.Then rum is added and the mixture is stirred briefly to dissolve the sprigs of mint and sugar to raise the bottom of the most prominent. Finally, the drink is ice cubes or crushed ice, soda and sparkling water. Mint leaves and lime wedges to garnish the glass.

Ingredients :

  • Ice


  • 6 oz white rum


  • 12 sprigs of mint or spearmint, torn about 8


  • 6 tablespoons fresh lime juice


  • 4 tablespoons sugar


  • Club soda


  • 4 slices lime

Route

Place ice in beverage shaker then add the rum, 8 broken mint sprigs, lemon juice and sugar. Shake and serve with ice in a glass tank lid. Finish each glass with a little soda.

Garnish each slice of lime and mint sprig.
